This Cookie Policy explains how Adaptensor, Inc. ("Adaptensor," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on the AdaptBooks platform. By using AdaptBooks, you consent to the use of cookies as described in this policy.

1. What Are Cookies

These cookies remember your preferences and settings, such as sidebar state, selected register, and display preferences. They enhance your experience but are not strictly necessary.

Performance and Analytics Cookies

We may use analytics cookies to understand how visitors interact with the Service. These cookies collect anonymized information about page visits, feature usage, and error rates. We use this data to improve the Service. We do not currently use third-party analytics services such as Google Analytics.

3. Cookies We Do NOT Use

AdaptBooks does not use advertising or tracking cookies. We do not serve ads, and we do not track you across third-party websites. We do not participate in ad networks or cross-site tracking programs.

4. Local Storage

AdaptBooks uses browser local storage (not cookies) to enable offline functionality. When you use the POS in offline mode, product data, pending transactions, and queue state are stored locally on your device. This data is synced to our servers when your internet connection is restored and is cleared when sync is complete.

5. Managing Cookies

Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. You can typically find these settings in the "Options" or "Preferences" menu of your browser. You can set your browser to block or delete cookies, but note that blocking essential cookies will prevent you from logging into AdaptBooks.

  • Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data
  • Safari: Preferences > Privacy > Manage Website Data
